Matthew Partsch is a landscape photographer living in Los Angeles, CA.
Though trained as a mechanical engineer at Penn State University, Matthew is never happier than when in possession of a good camera and a great view.
His love of the outdoors makes for frequent forays into the Californian wilds, where he delights in the stunning vistas of Los Angeles Beaches, and the Pacific Coast.
His images of grasshoppers sparked his passion for macro photography. Sometimes taking 1,000 pictures in a sitting, making sure the right grasshopper facial expression was captured.
He captures the beauty of a flying bird or gorgeous sunset, while striving to capture the moment in time, as it will never happen again.
